You have probably heard the saying ‘breakfast is the most important food of the day’. For me, this is pretty intuitive and I can’t agree more. Starting my day with a good dose of nutrients re-energizes my mind, body and soul and also, prepares me for the busy day ahead. That being said, I understand that some of us have very demanding jobs and often times, we do not have the time to make or eat a healthy breakfast meal before dashing out of the house.

To address this, I would like share with you some of my favorite/top 5 smoothie recipes which are packed with nutrients and are very easy and quick to make. These nutrients-packed smoothie recipes nourishes my body and keeps me going before lunch time. I recommend that your try them out.

In addition, these smoothie recipes could serve as a great recovery drink after an intense work out at the gym.
